2A Bug List

1. During rush hour, the traffic on Archer rd. moves really slow and it takes a super long time to get anywhere.
     -why? Since Archer Rd. is one of the major roads in Gainesville, a lot of people travel down it during rush hour

2. When drivers coming towards you forget to turn their brights off.
     -why? people just forget that they're on

3. When my roommates don't wash their dishes
     -why? They're busy and forget that they put them in the sink

4. When restaurant employees are rude
     -why? Maybe they've had a bad day or a customer was rude to them

5. That grocery stores don't offer products in small enough amounts, if you're only cooking for yourself
     -why? you have to buy it in larger amounts, so they make more money

6. when it's cold out and the steering wheel is difficult to use because it's too cold to hold
     -why? the cold from outside cools the car and the steering wheel

7. women's pants don't have pockets, or if they do they're not a reasonable size
     -why? women normally carry purses, which are considered more feminine than putting stuff in pockets

8. when people park in a place that's not a spot, trying to fit in, and block people in 

     -why? they don't want to search for a spot further away and have to walk to their destination

9. When the bus app is inaccurate, so you miss the bus because it comes early

     -why? the tracking is not updating correctly or the bus is moving faster

10. When people cross the street outside a crosswalk, or when they don't have the walk symbol, so you have to stop or slow down until they're out of the way

     -why? they are in a hurry or are late so they have to cross quickly

11. When people watch a video with the sound on or talk on speaker, in a study area

     -why? they forgot their headphones or need to talk on the phone and do something else at the same time

12. When people drive under the speed limit, in the left lane 

     -why? They don't realize that they're driving slowly

13. When I'm in a hurry and I can't get my laptop to load something 

     -why? I have too many files on my laptop or I didn't shut it down properly the night before

14. When someone uses all the hot water, so you have to take a cold shower

     -why? other people needed to shower and they didn't realize they had used it all 

15. In business, we say, "the customer is always right", but sometimes customers want something that's not possible.

     -why? they don't understand how it works, but they know they want it a certain way

16. When people say they can't do something, but they can, they're just being lazy and they don't want to do it

     -why? they had a long day and they don't want to do it

17. When people assume you don't understand something so they explain it to you like you're dumb

     -why? they genuinely want you to understand what they're explaining

18. When people chew with their mouth open 

     -why? they're nose is congested and they have to breathe through they're mouth

19. When people don't care about something because they think that they're above it 

     -why? they don't understand the situation or activity so they don't want to participate

20. When a package says it's going to arrive on a certain day, but it doesn't come

     -why? the tracking is incorrect or the mailman got stuck in traffic and couldn't finish delivering

This exercise was more difficult than I expected, because I do know a couple of my pet peeves off the top of my head, but it was definitely difficult to come up with 20 of them. I found it easier to come up with the "why's" of each one, than it was to think of them in the first place.
