  1. Nancy,

You have news articles varying from opportunities of a group of individuals to structured institutes, such as the government. This showcases the width of where opportunities exist. The one's effected by the problem are also broader than one might think at first hand. For example with the ceiling collapse at Union County prison effects actually much more than just the prisoners, but also all the staff at the prisons, the owners of the prison (local government?) and the families of the inmates.

  2. Hi Nancy!

You have a great variety of articles that you reviewed ranging from medical articles all the way to controversial political issues. The article that I was most familiar with was the Richard Spencer article. I believe it was a Thursday when he spoke and you could see all the costs of his speech adding up as you looked down the streets. Hundreds of police officers, UF public workers removing rocks, barriers being places and much more. I think that the whole situation was over hyped and wasn't needed. Furthermore, great analysis of the articles and great job picking ones that all weren't related.

  3. Hi there Nancy!
These were some very interesting articles, and the problems and opportunities that they present have such a wide variety. The Richard Spencer issue is something that is super interesting, as I could see all of the extra police but never knew how much we had spent to get that. The amount of work that was required for that event was evident, as could be seen too by such an astronomical cost! Super interesting to find out how much schools spend to ensure public safety. Overall great job on your analysis of all the articles.
