4A forming an opportunity belief

1. I believe that their is any issue that affects single people, especially college students. Grocery stores sell products in portions that are too large for one person to eat. 2. The unmet need is the food that is unnecessarily wasted by single individuals because smaller portions of food are not sold in the grocery store. My solution would be to offer single portions of common food items that spoil quickly. The problem affects single individuals, especially college students. This is not a recent problem, it has been a problem for a while. The problem is currently being resolved by a couple small solutions, such as keeping leftovers for future meals. 1st interview:      3. Sierra Coffman      4. Do you feel that this is a need for you? "Definitely" When does this affect you? "Most of the time"  How long has this been a problem for you? When did you become aware of this problem?  "Since starting college, 3.5 years" Do you think this i...

3A Entrepreneurship Story

Image
My major entrepreneur encounter actually happened when I was about seven or eight. My neighbors, owned a U-pick blueberry farm that allowed their family to have a little extra income. Their daughters, who were some of my best friends, and I created a little cafe at their farm. We bought the ingredients and made an array of blueberry desserts, smoothies, lemonade, coffee drinks, etc. We used part of the income to advertise, make tee shirts as our uniforms, purchased a nice tablecloth, and then we each split the profit. We would switch shifts, or work together, taking orders and preparing the food. We rarely made more than $10 a week each, but we enjoyed the experience of being involved in a business and serving people. I enrolled in this course originally, because I am apart of the Innovation Academy, and it is one of my required classes. However, I’m really excited for the things we will learn in this class and how I can apply them to my life!

2A Bug List

1. During rush hour, the traffic on Archer rd. moves really slow and it takes a super long time to get anywhere.      -why? Since Archer Rd. is one of the major roads in Gainesville, a lot of people travel down it during rush hour 2. When drivers coming towards you forget to turn their brights off.      -why? people just forget that they're on 3. When my roommates don't wash their dishes      -why? They're busy and forget that they put them in the sink 4. When restaurant employees are rude      -why? Maybe they've had a bad day or a customer was rude to them 5. That grocery stores don't offer products in small enough amounts, if you're only cooking for yourself      -why? you have to buy it in larger amounts, so they make more money 6. when it's cold out and the steering wheel is difficult to use because it's too cold to hold      -why? the cold from outside cools the car and the s...
